World's Smallest Gooseneck Trailer?

I suspect that the "fun-factor" entered into the equation, just like some of us collect old tractors or other types of toys. Now that pink interior...... :thumbdown:

i guess if you had unlimited money, access to a junkyard, lotsa tools, and some gm programming capabilities for the ecu, oh and a 14 yr old truck that ain't even a half ton, plus some pink interior , a load of aftermarket gauges and the ability to do custom ground effect work.. that and time to burn.. then yeah... might be an intersting project..

The trailer in the first post shows that it comes with a plate to put on your bed floor. Not as good as the frame, but sturdier than my bumper.

Kyle, the way them plates are supposed to be attached is to rails that mount across the frame rails under the bed first. You then drill though the bed and install the bolts which "sandwiches" the bed floor for a sturdy mount.

You can buy a Class III receiver hitch any day of the week for under $100 and then tow any trailer you want and not be limited to this little GN.

That's another reason why I'd be interested. My bumper is pretty weak, and I don't have a receiver hitch. If it did it would probably be rusted. My bed floor is much more in tact.

To put a gooseneck hitch in that s-10 will cost more than going to the junk yard and pulling an s10 hitch off one of the many s10 trucks or blazers there. Heck you can even buy a new one for less than $150 bet you cant get a gooseneck setup for that.

I once pulled a Dually Ford Ranger with a Service Body on it out of a ditch. It was the days before cell phone cameras or I would have taken a picture of it.

I dont think its anything but a set of fender skirts and special dually rims though.

It's a wantabe trailer. It's for the guy who has a mini pickup and wants to pull his Sears Craftsman moved behind his truck and look like the big guys.

That's funny too. Here when the weather breaks in the spring, seems like everyone and their cousin is pulling a trailer with a lawn mower. I think they just hook them up to drag them around. But the 3'x5' trailers are the best when they use them to pull a Push Lawnmower.

I know! And they don't tie the trunk down so it just beats the xxxx out of stuff! :laughing:
