Worst Equipment you ever owned

GerardC, Briguy, I didn't mean to start another fight between you two. Maybe both of you need to back away and settle down a bit.

Sorry for the delay in responding to the jap comment but I get no were near a computer on the weekends, it's my family time.

The jap comment was specifically pointed at autos. I wasn't thinking about tractors, tvs/electronics, tosters or tenny shoes. If I was to own nothing made in Japan, well, there are many things I use regularly that I couldn't replace.

Back to the autos. From the Jap cars I have owned (a 240Z and the 280ZX mentioned) and the many I have rented, their quality is way over rated. The 240Z was as good as any other car I have owned but not BETTER than my '64 ImpallaSS, '72 Cutlass, '70 GTO, '76 T/A, '86 Mustang GT, '86 Ford F150, '99 GMC Seirra 1500, '03 GMC Seirra 2500. Get the point?

The above mentioned good cars were better than a '83 Chevy S10 and a '86 T/A. All of them were far better than that 280ZX.

Today, when I go look at a new truck, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, ect don't get a sniff. And it is not because thay make nothing like my Ford F250 PSD, it's because of that 280.

What's to be sorry about? It's all just a matter of opinion and I'm sure that we're all learning something from the other(s) whether agreeing or not.
