I'm thinking the salesman in question will not be working there very long if he repeats this way of treating people. Someone screwed up somewhere, maybe in service when the checked the thing out, maybe in saying it was checked out and it wasn't, or maybe the sales guy was just saying what he didn't check out on his own.

i have a tc30 and i had the same problem brand new tractor whenever i would get on the tractor and start it i would blow a hose, hydraulic oil sure makes a mess after complaining to the dealer about this they came and brought it back to the dealer and they checked every fitting and hose on the tractor and it has been good ever since a little weapage here and there but the oil level has stayed the same every time i used to get on the tractor i would put in a gallon of oil. good luck
