A couple of mine. Couple out of 100s. If you know how big a Unimog is you will get an idea how deep it was. Needless to say the modified air box was just touching the water. I am reaching for the electric winch cable. I triple lined to get out of this one.

Actually the Case did pull it out. I didn't think it would but it actual came out pretty easily.

It seems that way at times. That's what I get for trying to dig a pond in the cattails. The little dozer didn't even grunt pulling the maintainer out.

Not the worst for sure, but enough to really play havoc with a tight schedule.

EDIT: I have a 4 or 5" cylinder with a good 4 feet or maybe a little more stroke with shackles on each end. I just plug it into the closest remotes. Got it free from a friend. It probably came off some large construction equipment. I have used this to extricate myself many times, especially when alone. Sometimes it's only a matter of moving a couple of feet or so. You have perfect control over the pull, there is no jerking or breakage (except the occassional crappy chain), you don't dig up the area with the towing machine and the forces exerted are immense!

Slid off of a driveway I was trying to plow and could not get back up onto the blacktop. I was able to get alongside of it before I finally slid into this tree. Neighbor across the street came by with a John Deere 4000 series with front loader and tiller on back for weight. He was not able to pull me out nor was a older F1 50 4 x 4. Had to go home to get my bobcat CT 225 and was able to pop it right out with that.

These arn't my machines but I hired these guys and brought in the rock truck hoping to get a jump on spring. I like to think I helped at least bit to extricate this big TOY! Shortly after, we just called it a day!
