I'm considering putting a JD BH9 backhoe on my NX4510HST. It is off a skid steer and would require some fab work to make it fit. I would either have to buy or fab up a sub frame for it then make the attachment arms for the backhoe to fit the sub frame. The Kioti backhoe weighs about 1250 pounds. The JD weighs in around 1800 and has a digging depth of an extra 23 inches over the Kioti. Your thoughts please. The subframe for my tractor is $700.00.

but if your planning on a complete remake of the frame and how it attaches to the tractor then I would start from scratch I think. The brackets for the front and rear mounts that bolt to the tractor are the complicated parts. And really the rear mount could be built onto your existing draw bar mount pretty easy. The front mount you said you were going to do different anyway. I was going to make my own but when the dealer offered me the price on a factory bolt on I went a head due to some many other things I needed to due and the time to fab one up.
