Would I be getting Ripped?

Hello,
A dealer just offered me $6,300 for my kubota BX1800 (4wd). It only has 92 hours on it and is like new. It has the LA211 loader as well. This seems way too low to me? Am i wrong? Any help would be great. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes you are. A new model is about 12,000 so your at 50% almost.

The dealer will be giving you wholesale for your tractor and selling it at retail. So, that being said, I would keep the tractor and sell it myself. Put the extra money in YOUR pocket for a little more hassle. You should be able to sell it for close to what you paid for it with the low hours if it is clean and not damaged in any way other than normal use. At least that is what I would do. Good luck in selling it.

Thaks for the help guys /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I am going to try to sell it on my own. It was only used for snow removal and with that small loader took forever, so no trade in. thanks again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There was an ad in my local paper last week for a similar setup - BX2200 + FEL + 60"MMM and a bush hog w/200 hrs (tractor hrs not listed) for $9000. Local dealer has/had BX1800 with 60"MMM only and wanted $8K for it. I think you would have no trouble selling yours for $8K. Don't price it too high though, with the financing deals going on you have to have a fairly significant price delta to make a sale.
