Would like advise on options I have.. need help

HI

First time posting so I'll try my best..

I have 2 options, first I was going to buy a Kioti Dk50. This is a
2009 with 620hrs on it. The tractor comes with a 80 " pronovost blower, loader, cab and an hole digger.. " auger I do believe "

He first wanted 28k and then and now he wants 32k taxes in. Said he painted the blower and added a blade on the bucket.. So I'm kinda annoyed that he bumped the price of an extra 4k.

Called my local Ls dealer and he had a pretty good offer for me and got me thinking.

His offer is a Ls 3037 with about 50 hrs on it and still has 4 years left on the warranty. Comes with a new 74" blower and a 60" mower and cab loader for 34k taxes in.

Only thing is the kioti comes with Hst and Ls is gear.. and of course the 13hp difference.. but Ls is much newer..

Any opinions would be grateful

THAT Kioti is much more tractor than THAT LS. They aren't really comparable. THAT Kioti with HST is a much better choice.

Even if it's a 2009 and no warranty on it? I know it's better hp and the hydro stat is a big thing. Ls dealer is close and kioti not so much.. I know on the kioti the bucket when curled the metal touches the frame.. so it's bent a bit.. not a big fix since the cylinder is fine.. but makes ya think. Am I going to have problems with the kioti.. the Ls has a backup plan :0) 32k want to make sure I make a good choice..

That kioti is in good shape tho.. I do think 32k is a steal with that pronovost blower but sounded much better at 28 :0)

Welcome to TBN........................

The Kioti is 6 years old and no warranty. It is a larger frame tractor. Loader lift height on the Kioti is higher than the LS. 4K seems like a lot for painting the blower. I'm not sure what you mean about adding a blade on the bucket. What did he add? a new cutting edge blade or a snow plow blade.
Snowblower difference is only 6" in width.
Kioti comes with post hole digger, LS comes with a mower. Is that a mid mount or 3 pt? If 3 pt. is it a rough cut or finish mower?
Either way, the mower is worth more than the PH digger.
Do you need the extra 13 HP and larger frame of the Kioti?
What are your main uses going to be?
HST is better for loader work, gear is better for more ground engaging equipment on the 3 pt.
That's a tough decision. Have you sat in each one and tried them out?

I have 8 acres of land and will need the tractor for my driveway and my lawn.. I might do a few driveways here and there but nothing major.. at least not for now. Yes the mower is rear mount and I do think it's a finish mower.

I have sat in both and they are both pretty similar.. have not driven the Ls but I did try the kioti and it was a good ride.. figure the LS would also be good. And as for the blade yes.. it's the cutting edge blade not that $$ plus I know the blower was 400$ for the paint.. he just said he had a good offer on a trade and told me 32 taxes in.. had it private but come to find out it's threw his dealership so said had to put plates.. etc...

Giving me the run around and getting me annoyed why I called LS

That's some expensive paint. Doesn't take that much to repaint a blower. $400 for paint so that's $3600 for the cutting edge he added? The 4K increase doesn't sound right.

Nope.. that's why I'm on here.. :0)

I know he figured out that they sold for close to 35 and he wants to make the most he can off it.. 32k is still a pretty good price for the kioti but with the LS they bent over backwards to try to get a good deal for me.. plus 35k with 4 years warranty is also very good.. don't think I could get that on a private sale.. I know they want my boat on trade value and that's why I'm getting that low.. they really want 29.5 and my boat.. think they liked it.. haha

Plus when I called LS today they had a 54" blower and I said wanted min 70 they called within 10 min and added the 74" at no extra cost

I don't know why they would have originally offered a 54" blower, The rear tires (R4's) are 66" wide so blower should be at least that.
I have 2 - 5 acre properties I maintain. For 10 years I did it with a much smaller 26 HP Mahindra (2615HST) with no problems. I upgraded to the 36HP LS mainly to have a warm cab to plow snow with. No other manufacturer could come close to the LS price when I was looking to buy. I really don't need anything larger than my XR3037HC. Like it very much.
Whichever route you go make sure to get all the manuals for the tractor, loader, and attachments.

I think they had an error on the blower size.. told him the same thing and the 74" came within 10 min.

The guy for the kioti bumped his price a few times and even now has not called me back to confirm at 32k made me drive 4hrs last week.. told me he would sell and now the bumps..

I just don't know if the extra 13 hp and the hst are worth the chance. The Ls at least the dealer is helpful and nice.. Strait to the point.. I also know that the 2015 Ls 4040 is now 49.500$ and I can't get the 2014 3037 non hst for 29.5 with my boat on a value of 6000$ for my boat

As mentioned before, HST is only important if you are planning a lot of loader work. Otherwise, I prefer geared tranny. Also, big hills can cause extra wear on HST. The 4-year warranty adds $$ to the LS deal.
