Would like info from model 1440 owners

I've bought a 1993 model 1440. I would like to know if this model has enough power to use a snow plow attachment, utility cart, etc. Since I've been told that the 1xxx line is without drive shaft (belts only), I was wondering if owners of this model had any problem using it for snow plowing, hauling, and the such.

That model was there economy model but it still is a driveshaft machine and very capable of pushing snow.
