I took these hydraulic cyl. off of a Unimog that I am parting out. They were used on a rail unit and would raise and lower the rail wheels. They are 2" diameter with a 10" stroke with a 1" rod with swivel ends that take a 3/4" pin, just like the top link on my Kubota. Would they be too light weight, or would they work for top links? I have four of them and have no use for them. What do you think they are worth? they were working just fine when I took them off last week.

Don't know why they wouldn't work. You'll need the spool of course. If you already have a rear remote then you are pretty much ready to go. It is worth a try at least. The hoses and fittings may set you back a bit.

It should be fine for a Cat 1 top link but something beefier is needed for Cat 2.

You might try posting on the Hydraulic Forum for those experts to give more (and accurate) feedback.

What do you want for 1 or 2 of them?

Another critical dimension to consider is the effective closed length; that is, center to center between each of the 3/4" pin fittings. A little too short isn't a problem with a 10" stroke, cuz I think 8" is pretty standard among Cat 1 toplinks. Too long however, and it's worthless - as a toplink. Measure the closed length of your OE manual toplink as a guide.

They measure just under 19" long closed from pin to pin. As for price make me a offer. I would like to get rid of them, as I said I don't need that many!

I have a JD2720, the top link will close to about 17.5"
