Would you buy a Kubota work truck?

Over the years Kubota has been very effective at entering new market segments. In recent years they have entered the UTV, ag, and skid steer markets, all very successfully as products have held up to the Kubota reputation and in cases perhaps even built on that reputation.

With UTV assembly taking place in Georgia, I can't help but wonder what a Kubota work truck would look like. Of course, assuming it would run a Kubota diesel and be big enough to load your BX in the bed... what would it take for you to buy a Kubota truck?

I have an orange truck, so color would be OK. Dealer support would be the key. Maybe a dealer that does not have a pickup to compete with the Kubota pickup, maybe the KIA dealerships would go in partnership and would sell and service it.

If Mahindra (ROXOR) can do it, why not Kubota? Would I buy one? Nope.

Been thinking of getting a new truck down the line... and I am disturbed by the prices of new 1 ton trucks... I might as well buy a medium duty truck.

I don't want electric and it has to be an oil burner...

A big factor will be if its highway legal or 'off road only' like the Roxor. Once they have to comply with all the mandatory safety and EPA stuff that's required for highway legal vehicles, they would still end up on par in the price range with any other leading brand for a similar vehicle.
Off-road only? Now that opens up alot of flexibility, but what is 'the market' looking for?

Now if only there was a vehicle that was similar to the roxor but was already street legal with dealer support and aftermarket parts. You could save a boatload...
