Dropping spindles/bearings/deck into water & then also lifting powered up into/out of water will do wonders for the torque amplification/loading to the PTO/tractor........... + potentially sending grease & oil into the pond ?
It's all a question of what gives out first the bearings (seize) , the deck (rusts out), the tractor PTO or his pocket when the EPA hands out a fine for polluting a pond/waterway..............then again he may not live long enough to find out, the way he dismounts the tractor with the PTO engaged & delights in being in such close proximity inspecting spinning blades, maybe he's tested that spinning PTO shield is working by grabbing it...........
Hey, with so little understanding of basic implement operation & safety, where's the video of him washing the tractor submerged in the pond when running - he's obviously is not a tractor operator, perhaps a failed submariner or a reject crash test dummy?
We have a lot to thank YouTube for, including globally identifying these type of idiots......
IMO, regularly cleaning implements /tractors only with water generally does nothing to increase their life expectancy - instead blowing clean post each use with compressor air causes far less deterioration (than forcing water into places it was never meant to go), supplemented by (as appropriate) seasonal/annual washing/drying (again with compressed air)/waxing/detailing, including the coating of implemeents with a suitable rust/corrision inhibitor such as lanolin or penetrol..etc.
