3-Point Hitch Would you like to add 3rd Rear Remote to LS XR4XXX???

I have been discussing a factory provided / dealer installed 3rd remote, for my almost new LS XR4046HC, with my dealer John Ryan at RCO Tractor in Austin. He told me today that LS now has a part # for the kit but no parts to support the kit. I'm not sure if the new kit is for the XR4XXX only or maybe it will cover the XR3XXX tractors as well.

I use the two stock remotes for top and side link cylinders and want third to operate an angle cylinder on rear blade.

I know that a bunch of parts could be cobbled up to get a 3rd remote but, I would prefer it to look like it came from the factory.

The rear bracket for the 2 existing set of QD's has a 3rd set of holes for the 3rd pair of QD's. The right side console in cab has already got the slot for the 3rd control lever.









Is a 3rd remote of interest to any more of you out there? Perhaps if a number of us sound off on this LS might move a little faster.

I'd ke the third remote on my R4047. Doesn't seen to be a part# for that either, although I haven't called and asked the dealer yet.

You would think that since they made a slot for it they would have a convenient way of putting a 3rd remote in there. I would like a third that is also a float.

I guess pictures are still a problem.

The picture, I tried to upload, was a comparison of the piping between valves and the rear remote QD for two sets and three sets of remotes. Will try to upload again when the picture issue is corrected.

I currently have a customer that has an LS XU5065. He had the 3rd factory rear remote installed and we are still putting 3 more on the rear for a total of 6 at the rear and 1 more up front for a 3rd function. 9 sets (18) of remote outlets is quite a few couplers.

To the best of my knowledge, LS has not made a 3rd rear remote available for these models. You can add an electric diverter and get the 3rd set that you need-want.

For your LS, yes it will work just as well as the factory valve, it is the factory valve, only diverting the fluid to a different set of couplers.

My tractor only had a single rear remote available, I needed 4 sets of rear remote outlets. I tripled the diverters to get that. For my application, this has worked every bit as good as if I had 4 separate levers, but I have only 1 lever (gray pistol grip with 2 thumb buttons and a trigger switch)with a control grip that has 3 control switches in it. 1 for each diverter valve.

I was hoping for more people responding to this thread, wanting 3rd remote, to hammer LS with.

What is really sad is that the 3 spool valve is in stock at the valve manufacturer, with the float feature if you want. Everything already exists to do this, just need someone to put it all together. I tried once, but don't know Italian and got the valve wrong and don't have the time or money to fool with it.

What is stupid IMO is that they use monoblock valves. So you throw the 2 spool valve away when getting a 3 spool unit.

I would also like to add a 3rd remote. My XR3037HC is laid out exactly the same as pics in Rick's 1st post. Also have the 3rd set of holes in the rear bracket which to me indicates a 3rd remote could be added but was not an option.

I really like Brian's solution.

I've got a R3039H with 2 rear remotes and that is adequate for now. If I needed more, I think I'd do a diverter on each rear remote for a total of 4. Then, when I'm ready for a diverter in the curl circuit for a grapple etc, it would be easy with a third button on the joystick.:thumbs:
