On the BLM road to our house for the past few days, our land on both sides, BLM guys cleaning brush & small trees.





The New Holland articulated in the middle, and the rotary cutter was chopping through 4"-6" thick stuff w/ ease.

My town has one, and I really like it, except it makes a horrible mess out of the trees on side of the road. I actually saw one of these working from a train while they were doing track maintenance. I thought a tornado had hit the tracks, until I saw it working. It takes the issue out of uneven terrain!

I'd love to have something like that to beat back the spruces and other trees invading my fields...the original field fence line is several meters inside the treeline in some places. Of course, I'd have to win the lottery first to be able to afford such a device (and, probably, a bigger tractor than my 45hp Kioti to power it!).

Good thing I am poor, I would buy one of each in your second picture. I would love to have one to clear the hilly areas on my property. I have looked into getting a skid steer cutter that attaches to your FEL but they are pretty pricey also.
