wounded CK25...

Long story, but I need to fix my hoses and valve for my loader for my CK25HST. Not sure exactly what I need, so I'm looking for help/parts.

I have attached some pics, hopefully they tell the story well. Do I need new hoses, and can I replace the couplings?

Please bear with me, it's my first tractor repair.

I'm gonna say check with your dealer as those parts are probably sourced from Korea when the tractor was designed. You might get lucky and find someone here who recognizes them though. It looks as though you need the cable assemblies and part of the valve that looks replaceable.

When I have a hose break, I take the hose off the tractor and bring it in to NAPA Auto Parts and stand in line while they make me a replacement. I fill the new hose up with the proper hydraulic fluid and re-attach it. I am no expert but this worked for me.

Perhaps you can find a kit online for replacement in the entirety or you can order them from your dealer or you can do it peacemeal replacement as I described above.

I got some bad news for you.....
That is not a hose, that is the cable in which you control you valve with.
I will be in the office tomorrow and I will look up the parts and let you know how bad it will hurt, if you plan on making the repair yourself we can asist you with a parts break down.

The parts diagram you faxed me was perfect, and you were correct, I need both cables and both housings.

Don't leave us hanging.... were you backing up and a stick popped up and jabbed the hoses? I had that happen to the front of the valve without too much damage to the actual hoses. The big dog metal pipe that feeds the valve is really low hanging from the factory and has also been "customized" on mine.

So what's the story? How did you get it back to the shop?

I know that the CK25 and 30 are smaller tractors with less ground clearance but it seems like there has been numerous posts with wounded tractors. Steering drag link, hydro filter mounts, and now these loader control cables. I have only suffered a dented hydro filter. Easy fix. Maybe Kioti could try and design these vunerable areas tucked up higher, I know harder to work on, or with some shielding to make them a little tougher. Not all of us use our tractors on a flat lawn.

I had the bucket fully raised, pushing against a tree, trying to knock it down for my food plot. It was leaning but would'nt go over. Back uo to get a little momentum, and when I hit the tree it went over, tractor rode up on the base of the tree, and of course the base kicked up, breaking the 2 housings and cables.

No problem getting it home, the bucket was just stuck in the full up position.

I'd consider that a well earned battle scar. Hard to knock the designers for not figuring out a way to prevent that type of damage. I haven't injured anything under my tractor yet but I've knocked the turnsignal lights off, dented the grill (despite the grill guard) and generally scraped things up a bit while dueling with Mother Nature. You cannot always anticipate how and where she's going to strike back. I just consider these injuries under the "cost of doing business" category and move on.
