I saw one recently in which a girl broke off the relationship so the young man found the nicest tractor he could locate and posted it online about 50% off wholesale and with her phone digits. I suspect that relationship didnt heal. All sorts of digital revenge nowadays.

I had emailed on a JD that was in the Houston Craigslist a few years ago for an absurdly low price. they replied , oh , the tractor is in Minot ND. send payment and we will ship it to you.I told them I drive a truck for a living and it just so happens i will be in Minot next week , they replied back , oh sorry were out of the country right now .
I figured maybe they were with the Nigerian prince and his $50 million

I did the same here on Atlanta Craigslist.
Same story "Tractor's in XYZ send money I'll deliver" I flag them all now. I stumbled across something called CraZ.com or similar searching for local used tractors, it was full of those scams. Always a woman's name and gmail address in the ad.

Notice the $26,600 price difference between the scam vs NO scam.

Those photos are of a tractor that was for sale here in Nova Scotia,Canada about two years ago.I seriously thought about buying it but didn't.I did go look at it a couple of times and am 100% certain it is the same photos.

Yes they are the same, you can find the same post in several locations all over the U.S , I ran across it yesterday in Memphis for 5900

I called about one for a good price from CL. The guy that answered said I only posted it for my aunt so send her an email and deal with her. Which I did and she was quick with a big email back with lots of pics, and it said she got a divorce and the tractor and that the tractor is in EBAY storage down in Tulsa. And that sending the money to a secure "holder" of some kind and the tractor will be shipped. And if it wasn't what I thought it should be they will ship it back free also...
