Yes I remember being cautioned of this as well, I'm just hoping this never happens, :cool:
So if I'm understanding this correctly your control stays with the tractor and the control provides an open circuitry to allow the fluid to circulate,
So what happens if the control stick while not connected to anything is accidentalyl moved into a diverted position?
is the fluid deverted back to the return tank? regardless of any of either positions?

Control does stay with the tractor. Two things. The control valve relief valve will go off if you accidentally hit the stick. I have experimented, no harm done. Secondly, I fabbed up some little bypass lines just so I don't have to worry about it. Fabbed them up more because one of the quick connect checks had a tiny little leak and I didn't like that.
