WR Long kit installed on L3940HST

I just installed the WR Long on my L3940HST to actuate the 48" Mini Eco Grapple from Wild Kat Attachments. Overall was a "smooth" install with no surprises. Because the instructions in the kit are not based on L3940 I said let's put together some quick instructions for other members on this forum so they will know what is about.
From a scale 1 to 10 the difficulty is 5 or lower. It took me almost 3 hours from start to finish including time to find some washers and screws. The kit is almost complete with exception mentioned in attached document, but generally was a great install with quality parts.
The major problem which I have to deal is how the lock pins engage with the slots from the grapple. Now the grapple has a little bit of playing relative with the loader. In one of the attached pictures can be seen the gap between the lock pin and the slot. Any advice is appreciated.

Not sure I'm understanding the problem with the quick attach....... if the handle is going over center then I'd say it is fine. Or.... am I missing something? I'm aware some times a grinder has to be used, or a shim can be welded in to tighten the fit, depending on the problem.

Congrats on your 3rd function kit. It is high on my want list.

I was thinking to weld a shim as you sugested. The problem is I'm off the grind on my property

If your locking rod is coming all the way, then there are some measurements off somewhere.

Measure top to bottom and side to side and the slot openings and see if they are equal or true.

If you want to just live with it, then weld in a spacer to make the unit tight when the levers are locked.

You need to find some-one with a portable welder.I wouldn't operate much like that.You need a tite fit.
I have been recommending the W.R. set-up,mine from Kubota has its problems.

Simple fix if you had a welder there, Just weld in some shims.. I cannot think of any other way to fix it without welding though.. I would not operate it at all without it being tight, Lots of guys have had them come of on one side and twisting the QA adapter. Gotta get it fixed.

I have a WR Long valve on my L4240 and it works great! I would do it again.
