I have the same chipper- it's fantastic. I think I have a pdf manual- I'll look on my computer later today- I'm on the iPhone now. It's a great chipper & completely exceeds my expectations.
I don't believe that you need all the rods to hold the screen in. If I remember correctly mine has most but not all.

Brian, just purchased this same chipper in good condition and haven't been able to find a manual. If you still have the PDF, I'd be interested.

Hi guys,

I am also looking for a manual for the super Apache. Anyway to get a copy of that pdf? Also have you had to grease the bearings and any information on how to do that would be appreciated.
