Hello everyone. It's been some time since I've been on the site, but I'm here with new information about the noise on the X310. I've taken the mower off in order to change the hydraulic fluid and filter, a little late, it's at 70 hours. Anyway while the mower was off I laid under the tractor with it running and the sound was coming from the electric clutch. I then turned the clutch on also while the mower was still off the tractor and the sound went away, returning when I turned the clutch off. My question is could it be adjusted too loose that it rattles and makes the whining noise or too tight? I've looked and it doesn't appear to be the same as older clutches with the 3 slots for checking the adjustment. Does anyone know the way to check the adjustment? I'm going to mess around with it more and may find the answer, but thought I'd check with you guys that have the knowledge. I'm also going to write a note on a X38,(I believe that's the number but have to check). I'm having a problem with it not starting and I'm sure it's electrical such as a safety switch, but would like to hear from others. Thanks for any info you can provide.
