X500 Plow install lift rod connection point?

Yes I know, I'm asking way too many questions for the "new guy". Sorry...

Ok I got a 44" blade off a x300 to go on my x500. It has the front mounting bracket, the blade, and a long link to go back to the foot pedal. Problem is, I can't see where the linkage hooks to the foot pedal...am I missing something? I've looked online but most models I see are fancier with the power lift. Any help? Thanks in advanced...

Hi and welcome!
I take it you bought a used blade? it will fit up to the x500, but you may be missing some parts.

Is your "long link" a threaded rod with 2 yokes on the end?

if so, that would hook onto the mid lift pivot that you probably don't have.
it comes as part of the blade and blower assy and goes on the tractor frame,
linking back to the deck lift components. it's basically a pivot that then pushes/pulls
on the link you have.

i'll try to find the parts diagram and post the pic

here is the parts diagram, picture this assy going across the middle of the tractor, one rod going rearward to the mower lift component,
the other rod outside the frame to the front lift for the blade... you have that rod and i bet you don't have any of this...

Your spot on, that's exactly what I need. I called the guy that I purchased the plow off and he said he has the parts. I plan to meet him today to get what I need off his tractor. Lucky he is so workable!

Ok the lift rod assembly is all installed under the tractor, plow is on, chains and weights are installed. Only thing I'm missing is part #1 on the above diagram. What is that? Is it a plastic bushing or something?
