I really like my X534, on my second season with it. The PS and hydraulic lift is great as is the AWS.

I like it so far. I need to get some use out of it. I WAS TYPICALLY CUTTING ONE OR TWO TIMES A WEEK BEFORE THE LONG HOT, DRY SPELL!

I will say I'm impressed with the steering and hydraulics. I didn't realize the blade didn't have a "trip feature" I guess I'll have to be careful but not to many obsticles to plow around and no uneven gravel, all driveway and sidewalk. I did get the manule angling kit. Guess I'll find out if the Deere setup works good or not. Put 8/10's on it before the dew started settling on the grass, oh well anohter 1.5 on her tomorrow then do it all over again sun afternoon. ( grass was about 4" tall and I cut at 3.25" so I could mow again in a couple of days. Grass grows about 2 1/2" per week around here this year.

Woody, you will love the power steering and hydraulic lift. I did not get the Deere plow cause it does not have springs to allow the plow to tilt forward if you hit something nor is it power angle. Have you seen the Johnny plow jr? It looks like a nice unit. Rick.

I just took mine out the box today and it is spring loaded so it will tilt if you hit something. And while its not a power angle I did get the manual angle kit, we;ll see how it works this winter.

Woody, thanks for the info. I did not know they had trip springs. Makes me want one even more. If I could only figure out how to make it hydraulic or electric/hydraulic angle I'd buy one tomorrow. I'm trying to figure it out. Enjoy your new equipment!

I cant be sure as I have not mounted it but the manual kit seems to work by twisting the handle/lever which pulls the pin and a push or pull depending on the direction you want it to angle.But you're right even an electric angle on it would be nice.

Hey Woody, did you get your 530 yet? I went "overboard" with mine and put lights in the fuel gauge. It's really cool. I'll post some pics later.

I want EVERYONE to see this. I recently bought a johnny plow jr. for my X530. UPS reported a traffic accident in which my product was damaged. It took a few days until they reported to John that my it was severly damaged and undeliverable. John assembled one for me the very NEXT DAY and SHIPPED it the FOLLOWING DAY! I have not yet installed it but I want everyone to know that his customer service is second to none! This guy takes care of his customers! There is no doubt in my mind that if there should be any issues with this product John will adress it in a very timely manner. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this seller! Product appears too be of high quality. Will update after installation.

Glad it worked out for you. I put one of their sleeve hitches on my 530 and it has worked very well so far. Got it less than a week after I ordered it.
