:thumbsup:Thank you for your replies.. The problem has been fixed. Loader is installed, received and installed my Ruegg manufacturing three point, have received my rear pto kit... Install will probably happen this weekend. Next project will be to install a new cylinder for the deck so the deck and three point will be operable seperately:laughing::D

Wow - loving this thread!!! This is really close to what I want to do with my X728. I bought it used a few months back and since have bought a 45 loader for it. Now want to figure out how to control the FEL and 3pt separately.

Was thinking of putting lever near the 4wd/2wd lever on the fender deck. Looking at valves now. Would love to put in a joystick SCV from the new 1026, but at $600 for just the valve, not likey. That would be slick though, to have theFEL joystick control and then stock controls for the 3pt.

Would be really interested in some pictures of where you tied in the lines!

Hello, glad to hear the thread is helping you. With the help of some folks on here I was able to figure it out. I just removed the main hydraulic line that comes out of the rearend ( if you lay under the machine and look at the front of the rear axle housing, the main line will be on the left side of the driveshaft towards the top of the housing). My hose was blue, don't know if this applies to all models, the hose runs to a splitter and goes in towards the top. If the design is still the same it's kind of difficult to get the hose off, they use a metric Allan head to hold the hoses into the the splitter and there isn't a whole lot of room to get to it. Anyway I just cut the hase in half and had the local carquest put new ends on each half, ran the hose from the pump (rear axle housing) to the valve assembly on the loader, through the loader valve, then back to the front half of the hose ( splitter) . You have to use the pressure relief valve in the loader valve assembly to set the pressure for the rest of the system. Hope this helps

OK, i know the hose you are speaking of. I was looking at that, but also noticed that all other systems are sending all fluid to steering valve first, then cut out to add another SCV, thereby giving first priority to the steering. Have you noticed any steering lose or anything else to cause you to re-consider?

Also, do you know the GPM flowrate of the system? I am seeing really interesting pricing of the joystick SCVs on the site posted above. WAY cheaper than the Deere price for the 1026R joystick - $300 vs $700! I may just give this a go when I tear the tractor appart in a few weeks to install the 3-point hitch and loader relief valve in the K92.

Thanks for the response!

Oh yeah - where did you get your rear PTO? I am interested in adding one, but having trouble with the $900 price tag! Alot for something I will not use that often. (3-Pt primarily for back blade).

No, I haven't noticed any problems with the steering, as of yet no regrets, the loader isn't quite as strong as I thought it would be but it's working good so far. I was also thinking about a joystick control for the loader but that's going to have to wait for a while, but I have found valves a lot cheaper than 700$, any hydraulic suppy should have them. I'm not sure what the flow is yet, I just adjusted the pressure setting until everything seemed to work right. I would think you could call your dealer or look online to find it. Unfortunately I couldn't find the pto anyplace but the dealer so I just bit the bullet, I haven't installed it yet but I wanted the options that it opens up... Post hole digger, bush hog, etc:laughing:

Found out flow - 6.0 gym rated flow, 4.5 min flow @ 3200 rpm.

Will stop by the Parker store on Saturday to see what they have.
