X740? Used price?

I wouldn't hesitate on that one. I had a 455 and traded to a 495 and eventually to a 2010 X740. A never really liked the 455 because the body style seemed a little small where the X740 is a little bigger, which I like. Ton's of power and fuel efficiency is great. Love those Yanmar diesels. I have 425 hours on mine and thought about trading, but it is such a good mowing machine I think I will have it for the duration.

For me, it would have to be real good before I'd give up my 425. But that just be me.

I understand what you are saying. I like my 425 too but would also like a little better ride and a 60 inch cut.

Is the motor a good thing?

I don't know as both my x744 and my dad's x749 have the big engine. It also weighs about 80 lbs more than the new one.
