Tractor Sizing xg 3025 brush hog/ tiller

What size brush hog and tiller can you run on the LS XG3025. Only 17 PTO HP. Was looking at a XR3135 also, what size brush hog/ tiller on this tractor.

On the 3025, a 60" mower and tiller would be fine. My MT125 has 17.2 pto hp and runs a 72" finish mower no problem. It won't go through 1 foot high wet grass, but does fine on the dry stuff. The XG3025 gear has 19.2 pto hp vs loosing 2 hp for the HST version.

Thanks Looking at the xg3135 and xg3140, I like the xr3135 for the mid pto.The dealer has a good deal on the xg3025 with loader and backhoe.

Judging by a 2011 mahandra 3016 HST that had with the same mitsubishi engine as the LS XG3025 i did have a little problem running out of power in the mid range on cutting grass with a 6 ft finish mower on hills and it had all it could handle with a 5 ft tiller. The XG3135 shuttle shift has all the power i will ever need with a larger finish mower or tiller if needed.
