Parts update
Got back out to the land today. The only thing I broke was the tie rod tube. Bad news it is back orderd from Korea. So I got the tube off . It is a thin tube. Took it a red dealer, we used his press and got it very close to straight. My first plan was to insert a piece of round bar stock in the tube drill some holes for welding. That plan did not work due the the way the wrench flats are made. So second plan we cut a small piece of the bar stock for the break for a solid welding surface. $10.00 for the bar stick and $20.00 for the shop work.

Good to know information
The xg and g and boomer 33 use same parts except for our engine that is because it is brand new this year.

Did get the ratchet rake and quick hitch on also got the new pto shaft with slip clutch on the rotary cutter.

If I get the fan clutch of the truck and it is not raining will get it back together tommorow.

What I am doing to protect the now repaired tie rod tube. Since I am clearing land and the tie rod sits in front of the axle un protected I decided to protect it.

When to Home Depot got the following
1. 24 inch 1 in black iron pipe
2. 1 in coupler
3. 3 inch 1 inch nipple

The pipe slides over the tube but is not a tight fit. I thought about welding it , but decided against it due to the heat.

Update to steering and using ratchet rake

Got the steering fixed . Could not use the 1 in pipe over the tube, would not fit behind the axle mount

Here are some pic before and after using the ratchet rake

Steering update

I broke the other side of the tire rod. This time I took the pieces to a machine shop and had them make me one out of bar stock

Have you considered a larger tractor....a much larger tractor ?

You are really putting that rig through the paces . The good side here is that I'm learning a lot w/ you posting your experiences.

Much thanks for the pix. They help explain things too.
Good luck

No on the bigger tractor, because once this is done it will be for cutting , maybe digging post holes etc. If wife wants a garden then use it for that. This first acre has been the hardest. Once I get on top of the hill does not look that bad. I could have rented a dozer for a week but then would have nothing to do.
