XJ 2025H HST filter

Has anyone had any luck finding a replacement Hydro-static filter for an XJ 2025H? I have been able to find everything but the HST filter. The dealer is to far and too expensive imo.

Here's what I have for filter info:
• Oil Filter, PN 40056451. have 50 hours 48010995 new CNH
• Fuel Filter, PN 40223960.
• Air Filter, PN 40049450. Service 50 hours
• Hydraulic Filter, PN 40220109. 50 hours
• HST Filter, PN 40195621. suction 50 hours ae-25 zinga (Amazon)
• LSTH400 oil to top filters
Wix Oil Filter- 57040 napa 1358
Wix Air Filter- 46449 napa 6449 kohler 2508302s
Wix Fuel Filter- 33830 napa 3830
Hst and hydraulic filters are switched according to the chart

I'd be interested in this too - are there any WIX HST and Hydraulic filters that are compatible?

Acording to my X reference its a its a Wix 51553 for the LS 40195621 HST Filter but cant X 40220109
I used my shop vac in the fill hole to keep from loosing so much hydraulic fluid.

I have been able to cross the following filters

Air- original filter was a Donaldson #P822686 (easy to find)
Oil- Wix 1365
Hydraulic- Wix 1551 (This is the big filter under the tractor)

HST/Hydro-static- LS PN 40220109 taken from the box of a new filter from the dealer.(Smaller filter under the seat)

This filter is very difficult to figure out. No one could find it I went to Napa, called Donaldson, Baldwin, Fleetguard no luck!
Now I know LS does not make their own filters sooooo.....

So I googled the LS # and first ended up at a site in Spain, that led to a company called HIFI Filter and a #T601..
Kept plugging away and got a company in Germany SF filter. Part #SPH94063- was given when i entered the LS #40220109.
HMMM interesting!

I started crossing that #SPH94063 everywhere I could and got a hit!! A New Holland PN TR98D3596= HST Filter for a NH Boomer 24! now I'm getting somewhere!

Went to the Wix cross reference tool, and first got a # 51410, but the micron rating was wrong...
kept playing with the various filter cross reference guides available and FINALLY ended at the following:

Wix 57102 10 micron all measurements appear the same it looks the same and the part i like the most is it crosses to the Boomer 24 #
which is the XJ2025h equivalent.

I have not ordered it yet been busy but will be getting to it shortly. If anyone gets to it before I do and it is not correct I apologize in advance!!

BTW that Wix # crosses to a lot of other mfg#'s but the micron rating was only correct on the Wix 57102!!

Hope the helps anyone like me to far from the dealer, and just likes doing there own thing!!

Awesome job GMC Cooker! I just ordered the Wix 57102 to try - I'll report with my findings. I've got pretty much all the Wix crossover filter numbers recorded for all my equipment...makes maintenance so much easier and Wix filters have worked great for me over the years.

I see you put the oil filter as Wix 1365? I've used 57040 for Wix oil...looks like 1365 is NAPA (same as Wix I know) but is that a better crossover for oil? 57040 fits fine on my J2023H, but does seem slightly smaller than the LS oil filter...is 1365 a better fit?

FYI - I just ordered up filters from my dealer for the 50 Hour service and received:

LS filters for Fuel and HST.
Air: Baldwin RS3715
Hydraulic: Baldwin BT839-10
Oil: Baldwin B227

Well almost 2 years later...I jumped on to order new filters and a quick Google search landed me back on this thread and I noticed my post back in 2019.

For the record and for anyone who may land on this page in the future - the Wix 57102 does NOT work for HST filter on the J2023H. Its simply too big.

After that didnt work for me I ordered the actual LS HST Filter 40220109 and that does work but Im still hoping to find a Wix alternative...so I just ordered 51553 to try. I'll report back on that filter in 2023...
