Do you have problems with e-mail as well as the internet connections? This is especially pertinent if you use a different software e-mail (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora) then your browser.
If your e-mail works OK, what browser are you using? And, what
version of the browser (if Internet Explorer, click on HELP, then ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER...the version number (5.0..., 5.50..., 6.0...) will be there.
If you're using a version older then 5.0, it's time to upgrade.
If newer, try clearing out the cache (TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS). If you delete the caches (FILES), your browser may slow down initially while it builds certain cached files again. Also, consider deleting the cookies...you may have some that are corrupted. If you delete the cookies, your saved usernames, passwords etc. may have to be re-entered...so make sure you note your usernames and passwords...and which site they apply to!
This should get you started...if you're using Netscape Navigator, it's a similar process. I've not used Navigator in a few years, so I don't know all the ins and outs.
