XR3135 regeneration time?

XR3135H. First Regen today@ 24hours. Duration of regeneration was 20 minutes. I was on the backhoe digging up stumps and the engine was running 2200rpm. The engine pitch changed slightly and the exhaust smelled funny. I was finished for the day so I parked it and idled it down (now @1100rpm). When regeneration was complete the regeneration lights on the dash went out and the idle speed dropped to 800rpm. Done Deal!

If you keep your RPM's up, keeps the heat up and it will cut the regen time in half.
cford36, Regen was almost complete when I idled it down. I mainly wanted to see what the actual rpm increase was during a Regan cycle. I thought it would have been more than 300 rpm. Good advise though, thanks.

XR4155 here, first regen at 50 hours during first service (I wasn't present) and second at 100 hours. Working my way up to the 150 hour mark, so I'm guessing I'll see another regen soon with a ~50 hour cadence. I was hauling rock and didn't seem to notice any power loss, though it did jump up some RPM like others had mentioned.

I have 100 hrs on the 3135 and have kept track of every regen. It is slowly increasing in intervals, but I don't think I have hit 30 hrs. I'll check my records. As already stated, usually I notice the smell before the light on the console. No real issue with regen for me.

Both mine have been at about 40 hours. I think it depends upon how hard your are working it. Higher RPM and the harder you work it, the more time between. The more idling the more regens.

I was surprised mine waited until 48 hours before it’s first regen. It pretty much idled or fast idled most of the first 20 hours moving some things around and test fitting attachments. I always think it’s only going to take me a couple minutes to hook up, so I leave it running. 30 minutes later I’m finally ready to do some actual work. Lol
I was very surprised when my first regen was at just 24 hours. 90% of those hours were at 2200 or so RPM using the backhoe or fel. 10% at idle while putzing around or warming up.
Very hard getting used to keeping the RPM up when not working the tractor. It will be interesting to see when the next regen will occur.

My first regeneration was at 18h. But I was using the tractor on the higher gear I could to keep the rpm low. I realized then that it is not a good practice.
Next regens happen at 75h and 128h. I keep the rpm mostly at 1600rpm, now. Regen lasts a few minutes rpms go up a bit and are fluctuating. I just ignore it and continue my work. It does smells weird though!
