Any on you guys replaced the mechanical top link with hydraulic top link? Do you happen to recall the setup specs? Hoses/couplings/cylinder specs etc? Finding technical info for LS tractors is way more difficult than it should be in my opinion -- especially when your local dealer goes belly up.

I provide a 2 1/2" dia cylinder with a 1 1/2" dia rod. Working lengths can be cat 1 @ 17"-23" or cat 1-2 at 19"-27" for the 55hp unit. Hose kit has 30" & 36" hoses with 1/2" male AG type couplers. A set of flow restrictors to make adjustments slower and smoother.

Find something close to that and you should be all set.

Now I did just come across an odd requirement, but something was different with his draft links for some reason.

I replaced mine with same system I got from Brian years ago for my Kioti. Works very well.

I too was trying to save money on mine. This is what I have used pretty hard for 500 hours, works great for me.

All from agrisupply

90599 TOP LINK CYL CAT 1, 20-28" 1
18653 3/4"ADJ. ORB X 1/2"FEM. PT hyd fitting x 2
86668 1/2" X 24" HYDRAULIC HOSE x 2
86641 1/2-14 NPTF QUICK COUPLER W/BALL VALVE MALE 8GPM x 2

It was $215 shipped for me and have been worth every penny.

Hydraulic side link is from "CWA" on amazon. This is the description:
2 1/2" Bore x 4" Stroke x 1 1/2" Rod, 3000 PSI, SAE 8 Port Weld Clevis Cylinder

I did have to cut one side off the cylinder and one side off my factory side link and weld them together. But for less than $100 it was a no brainer. This setup has held up for me. YMMV.

How does your setup work without the flow restrictors Brian recommends?

Never knew anything about it. "make adjustments slower and smoother" I can live without that for the kind of money im saving (or potentially add it for cheap?)
