XR4140H Error codes HELP please!

Hello everyone,
I have a 2017 XR 4140 H with 452 hrs and has been a gem till yesterday, I was snow plowing for about an hour and a half ,then the rpms started bouncing around, the diesel knock got very loud and it stalled. Error code came on the dash F3 &F4 (1076) and F31(132). I started it back up and it would run(barely) for 30 to 45 seconds then die, It took a couple times but I got it back in the shed luckily cause we got another 8" last night. I run winter fuel additive from archoil, but i am thinking its a fuel issue to start ,I am going to try some 911 and a new fuel filter, hopefully that will get it to run long enough to get it in my workshop to check it over. Any info on codes and how to clear them would be greatly appreciated!

S132F31 is AMF Sensor Failure P0100 should have a red warning light on solid
the S1076F3 & F4 codes seem to be related to IMV control faults

so ... could be fuel gelling and/or frozen AMF sensor. (or the AMF readings couldn't calibrate to the fuel flow) How cold was it when this all happened? Try setting a heater by the tractor & see if things normalize when you run it at warmer temps?

Thank you very much! I have the fuel filter off, and discovered a blown 10 amp fuse for engine control, The grounds by the battery look a little rusty so i am going to address those also.

The grounds on these are notoriously bad, so a good cleanup is always a good idea. If you start getting wacky voltage readings & intermittent no starts check the positive cable too. I wound up replacing the battery cables with #2 welding wire, milspec terminals & changed out the main 100 amp fuse as well. the setup they use will eventually wind up with galvanic corrosion due to the dissimilar metals used in the positive post fuse bracket.

Early XR4100 series tractors had issues with the engine wiring harness rubbing through against a bracket on top of the radiator. Caused all kinds of fault codes and blown fuses. Check the harness where it goes over the radiator between the ECU and the injectors, engine sensors, etc.

So I received my new fuel filters from the dealer, I ordered two to have one on hand which was a good move because the threaded insert on the inside of the filter was just rattling around in the bottom of it ! the second one was fine. I replaced the fuse, installed the filter I also put a little Howe's diesel treatment in the filter and treated the fuel in the tank. Checked the grounds, Which where surprisingly clean!, Primed the filter and she is running like a clock! The codes cleared themselves, I think from here on out i will just replace the fuel filter every fall and run howes in the fuel year round, cause working on the Smurf when its 5 degrees outside is not much fun.LOL Thanks again for the help!
