Aloha from Hawaii,
I am a Coffee Farmer and depend on my 3 year old Gator XUV 850D w/ dump. The hand break has ALWAYS given us trouble. The owner manual refers to a dealer. I have the hand break page and bought new pads. After getting stuck, I took the break assembly to the dealer tech and got some help that was not indicated on the tech page (the pictures do not even show all parts; the break assembly itself HAS NO picture except a far-away assembled view). After installing it -- correctly per Dealer tech -- I adjusted/tightened the yoke deal all the way, and still had no success at all having the Gator stand still on a slope (in Neutral, of course). It seems that the new (but extremely thin) pads are not only touching the disk when the hand break is pulled, but that they are really tight on there. When the break is loose, I can see a thin distance between disc and pads.
What is going on?
