what's up with your dealer darkday?? and i know what you mean i been eye ballin them 1100's man a/c and heater. i never went look at a price on them to see what it would have cost me . they have a few of them at the bota place down here.

Heat, air, cab, hyd. dump, and even if you add aftermarket lights, winch and several other goodies, they are well under 18k, and I've seen RTV's painted JD green:D

It'd be a 900 though because of cost. :( Most likely it will end up being an XUV if anything but it's annoying.

i would give the xuv's a year or two to work out the qurks then get one . they will probably be giving them more hp and a better setup all together on the rearend. the xuv is nice but i think it needs some work to be great and worth the money.

IMO they're already worth the money if you're in the market but trading the HPX for it just because maybe it isn't. I'm certainly going to see what is in store for 08 at least. I can hope for a clutch enclosure... But I'm not making my hopes to high based on past years.

Do any of you gator owners have the deluxe light kit? I have the basic brake/tail light kit and I ordered the deluxe set and the dealer wants what I consider a lot to install so I'll try this my self 1st. I have noticed that there are quite a few connectors that are open and I have to think these would be for the turn signals and 4 ways. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I put the deluxe light kit on my XUV last spring. Wasn't all that bad. Just plug in the supplied harness in the rear and the one in the front. The stock headlight switch gets replaced with a two position one that allows the tailights on without headlights. Hard part was mounting the brake light switch by yourself. Small space to work while getting the nuts on the bolts. If you have the basic kit the brake switch should be mounted already.

I had the deluxe light kit and traded it.
My problem was that the rear lights stick out to far and if you travel on narrow trails you will bend them.
It is a very well built kit. And I recommend it. For normal use it is excellent~!

can't you just mount the rear lights under the bed insted of on the side?i mounted my lights way up on the rack i made for the rops . but i think you should be able to mount the lights under the bed pretty easy.

Craig, Skip, Tommy,

Thanks for the replies..I dont do too much trail riding, but I have noticed even with my tail light kit now it does stick out quite a bit. My biggest reason for getting the deluxe set is running in and out of these fields I need a way to signal what my intentions are better than throwing my arm up in the air and trying to signal what I'm doing I guess people dont know arms signals in my area but they sure know what the middle finger stands for.

Thanks again
