I can't believe your luck. Congratulations on the great deals. I'm trying to unload a few things this week to have some cash for next week's "early winter consignment auction".

Yes, I feel very blessed by all these great buys. I literally couldn't sleep the night after the auction... reflecting on everything I got and what I paid for it was almost surreal. I could never expect to repeat these last two auctions. I just went back and started to edit that last post and started to list
some more of the things I bought and forgot to mention but decided it didn't matter, everyone gets the point. My buddy that has been going with me picked up lots of similar buys as well. He is a regular at local auctions and everybody at these two auctions knew him by first name but he has mentioned several times that these were the best he has been to.

Honestly, it has been a real eye opener. Both auctions had respected local auction companies but the first one did a terrible job because they didn't know anything about what they were selling. The second one knew a lot about everything being sold but where they really fell short was their flier and website.....they did the owner a real disservice by not fully listing things and promoting it like it should have been. I would chalk this up to a valuble lessen for anyone considering having an auction. Make certain you choose a company that knows what things are and are willing to get every possible buyer there.
