Just agreeing that LMTC is the way to go if you are anywhere close to him. He knows Yanmars, can get parts and can do service. He's not just a fellow that picked up some recons to sell as a hobby until times get tough.
You will pay more for a nice low hour original machine then you will for a viet recon, but you will have an original tractor with a lot of life left, not one on it's second life (and what happened to it's first life?) with sometimes questionable rebuilding practices.
I recommend Koyker loaders. Finally, unless you need or want to stay real compact, the YM2010D is twice the tractor when compared to a YM1401D. There is certainly a place for the smaller tractor, but if room allows, you'll appreciate the capabilities of the YM2001-2420 group of tractors.
