Yanmar 1500

I dont want to take over KYhunters thread, but id like to thank you guys for your input. Neat was right there was an underlying problem The first time out the tractor ran hot. I pulled the radiator to get it flushed, ended up buying a new one (ouch). Still ran hot, after seeing bubbles in the radiator while it was running my new guess was head gasket. we pulled the head & rebuilt it & the injectors. While the head was off we flushed out the water jackets (lots of brown sludge). The water pump was just a little extra insurance.
Thanks again Ive learned a lot from this group. Wally

glad we could help. i am a bit of a stickler for fixing things, i like them to be and run like they should, not patch them up. thats why my stuff that i sell my family or friends always buy it knowing i had it. glad it has all turned out well, she should go another 30 years now.
