yanmar 155-D

Recently ran across two 155-D Yanmar tractors... are they a good compact? I have not seen many posts here regarding them... Can a person still get parts for them? Where? Each seem like a nice small tractor any advice or should I look for a different Yanmar model?........................ Bret

I had one . It is a great little tractor . Depends on what you want to do with it ,will help decide if you should look for a different model. Mow? Loader? Cruise?
This is a 2 cylinder model. I am told some front axle parts are hard to find but normal maintenance items are very easy to find.

thank you for your info... would be used to brush hog with a 48" brush hog on about five acres two to three times a year and shove snow with...

Should pull the 48" hog OK. You will have to go slow until you get it cut down and under control. Keep the radiator clear of debris as there is no water pump on this model and cools through the thermo syphon theory .
Do either of the tractors your looking at have a loader or front blade ? I have a hydraulic angle blade from my old YM155D that I am trying to sell if you are interested.

Thanks for the info on the YM-155D's... being they have no water pump kinda steers me away from them now as I have some hilly ground that would have to be mowed up and down rather than from side to side... this would work that motor harder than side to side and it could benefit from a water pump... I searched this site and really not much on the 155's were they not too popular? What model 20 hp and under is a good one to look for? Thanks.................................. Bret
