It still points in the same direction as before. Never seen anything like it. It doesn't make any sense to me. Apparently I will have to split the tractor in two as it doesn't make any sense to me.

That is what I am thinking too.

I was actually able to take the steering box off and reach inside, pull the throw out bearing up the shaft and reconnect to arm, put spring back on, readjusted clutch and now works properly.

I had a good guess on that one. Internal Linkage moving back_ _ _wards. good to hear it was a easy fix. Still wondering what caused it.
