This is a question for the hydraulics gurus. I have noticed on my loader that the curl is weaker than what the bucket lift can pick up. The best explanation I can give, is today I had the forks on my bucket and loaded it with 10 foot long small diameter long lengths. The loader had no problem lifting the pile of logs, but I did notice that eventually the bucket due to the weight of the load started to curl downward. When I tried to correct the problem by raising the curl I lost all the strength and the bucket curled even more downward. So my question is should the curl cylinders be weaker than what the bucket can pick up? I have been lifting larger log length that I calculate in the 800 pound range. Or does it mean that I may have a leak in one of the cylinders or the loader valve. By the way one of the curl cylinders is a year old. System pressure is at 2200 psi
