yea I noticed that once I posted. I just let it be cause if I wanted a 15w30 diesel I may as well use a 10w30 diesel which is made I believe.You mis-quoted, we were talking about 15W30, not 10W30 that is normally used in regular gas engine vehicles.
As for 15W30, it's rather a newer configuration. Chevron holds the patent on it. Guess if you want to use it, pay the premium price.

And I still stand by my comment that 15w40 will be thinner at start up than straight 30w oil.
