Yanmar 3110D RPM's

Yanmar 3110D RPM\'s

I am new to the forum and this will be my first post. I just bought my second yanmar tractor. My first a Yanmar 240 and the second a 3110D. The 3110D runs great but at full throttle it barely reachs 2000 rpm. I don't think this is right could someone respond.

If you purchased from a dealer I would make them arare of the problem. The engine should produce 2500 rpm or more. Most likely it is in the throttle linkage. Remove the side cover next to the throttle and follow the linkage. A slight adjustment should produce a change in the rpm's.

I wouldn't even bother a dealer for something like that, just follow the linkage and repair as necessary.

any idea what the yanmar 240 would be worth. It is the only one I have seen in my area. 2wd 24hp approx 600 hrs

I've been on V.C. & just got back in town so , I'am late posting to your question. I also have a 3110D great tractor. You can adjust the travel at the injector pump.There is a throttle stop there. I don't run mine more than 2200 rpm.
