Yanmar 336D FEL only works when 3 point is raised to max and straining the engine!?

Just hang in there, there are a lot of guys that knows the yamar and johndeers in side out. To me, has something to do with that block and lever.

G'day is the valve you fitted open or closed centre? It should be open centre.

To be honest i dont know, it is this one Brand Hydraulics Monoblock Loader Valve with Regeneration, Model# PLV22RFSTKAB | Control Valves| Northern Tool + Equipment

Well guys..... it turns out all i needed was this little plug all along! Went to several stores with no luck until i went to Auto Zone and they had a fancy chrome one in the right size! Installed the plug and sure enough that was the issue! You guys have no idea how much i appreciate all of your help, i really enjoy this tractor and now that the FEL FINALLY is working the way it should it is just that much better. Im also very happy the problem was solved before another cracked valve or who knows. I know the previous owner had a fair amount of hydraulic related problems and MANY blown hydraulic hoses. I guess we will never really know how that plug got removed in the first place but its there now and i aint taken it out! I had help on My Tractor Forum but it was pretty much everyone telling me to cut the steel lines and all kinds of things i didn't want to do. Thanks again guys!

Bulldog,could you post a pic of your ldr valve ? Its a joystick,just looking at how its mounted,i have a 336d w yanmar factory joystick but the mount has been repaired by someone and I dont have room on the r\s to get on\off the tractor,would like to see the correct way to mount that valve

Tell m about yours? How did you get such a good price on it ?

Well to be completely honest im in the same situation as you, someone re-welded the mount closer to the seat and i cannot get on from my right side either. I posted a picture below of a 336D i found online and believe this is the correct mount.

I got the tractor from a man who brought it into my friends shop. My friend repaired this tractor for years (which is one of the things that scared me about buying it haha) and the customer said he was going to sell it. My friend knows how much i love tractors and told me about it. We were trying to come up with a offer to make the guy when my friend called him and before we could even ask about the 336D the owner said "when the **** you coming to get this tractor". My friend said how much and the customer said "i told you $1000 and shes yours!". Now my friend at this point had never told the man he was going to buy the tractor nor did they even talk about price! As soon as my friend got off the phone i was already hooking up the trailer and the rest is history ha!

Back in post # 2, I mentioned a PB adapter.

In post #11, you labeled a PB adapter, and in post # 25, you show a hex screw.

Is that fitting labeled PB adapter in post #11 just a fitting, and not a PB adapter?

You normally only have one hex screw or a PB sleeve, but not both.

You normally only have one hex screw or a PB sleeve, but not both.

The hex screw goes into the remote hydraulic or divider block i believe its called, not the loader control valve. I re-posted it in the Yanmar section and someone sent me a link to a thread where someone had a diagram showing it.

Basically installing the hex screw controls the flow of the hydraulic fluid to run through the spool valve like it should and then down stream to the 3 point. The way it was without it the hydro fluid was just bypassing the loader control.
