Yanmar 359c Does anyone run a heavy bush hog?

Does anyone run a heavy bush hog? Like a bush hog BH26 or a woods 720
I'm looking to buy a 55 to 60 hp tractor and wanted to know if any 359c owners ran the heaver bush hogs that weigh about 1100 lbs

The YT359 has the very efficient iHMT transmission which puts out 52hp to the PTO. It’s 3pt lift capacity is 2700lbs 24” behind the lift arms.

The BH26 weighs 1100lbs and has a recommended PTO hp requirement of 45hp per the manufacturer.

General rule of thumb for rotary cutters is 5hp per foot of width. Bush Hog recommends 7.5hp per foot for the BH26.

The YT359 is putting out 8.6hp per foot of rotary cutter. You should have absolutely no trouble running that cutter with the YT359. You could go significantly larger if you wanted depending on your needs.

Specs and capacities get published for a reason. If you refuse to believe published data, life becomes virtually impossible. If your tractor fails to live up to its published capabilities, you have legal recourse.

Well I just bought a woods Bb720. Haven't run it yet but sure it will run just fine

I run a 6ft. bush hog on my 52pto hp Kubota with no problems. I am not sure how much it weighs . I usually run in low range 3rd. or 4th gear depending on terrain and how heavy the hay is . I usually mow about 2 to 3 acres per hr.

I recently sold the 6ft. bush hog and using a 5ft. RCR Landpride until my new Everything Attachment rotary cutter arrives .
