How many hours will a Yanmar engine last?


10,000 hours seems to be the upper limit on most Yanmars. Of course you do have to send the injectors out for recalibration/rebuild about every 2000 hrs. and the Injector pump out at 5000 hrs. if you want a 'perfect' engine


Saw some a few years ago but never stopped to take a closer look,

jeff9366 hi, I'm in east canada and own land, I like its turn radius, like a small timber jack, so Don't have to make wide trails, plus here any tractor 50hp and more you don't have to pay tax, I did not look into it much aswell, But the dealer is close.​

49.7 horsepower is less than the 50 horsepower exemption. LOL we can round it off or turn a screw

Just went to dealer, The one he sells is the TTR 4400, he said its a 45hp, and with no cab or blower 80tho, He said no tax on 70hp tractors now, Not worth it to me but i'm still going to look at it, he said hes getting one in a few weeks

I have a TTR4400 (~2008 I believe; no emissions stuff). Amazing machine. Mine's got about 1200 hours on it. Good for anther several thousand I hope. I'd have to check but I believe mine tops out around 17km/hr which is pretty nice for transiting.
