Guys, If I were living in Osaka (Japan), sure I would buy this year 2000 model (250 hours). Not the last Yanmar model (EF series are newer) but not too old too... Like it ?
Did you notice the oil (or trans ? or fuel ?) filter down the floor. This model came (yes came and not come !)with hydrostatic transmission, UFO control of horizontality of tilling and of course......ROPS !
That's 1 nice tractor. what h.p. is it ? 22 ? I want 1. Will you ship it to me ? let me know & I will pm you my address /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The AF 2XX series are rated XX HP at the PTO. So AF 222 is a 22 HP model. There description with specs is still on the Yanmar Japanese Website. If you like it and order a hundred of them you will win a very fine Bordeaux wine bottle /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I don’t know if you would still want one if you saw the price tag. I see these tractors often but they are being resold into the Japanese market most of the time.
Any idea when they will come state side like the others ? Will it take 20 years b-4 they get here get here ? Thought the prices would be like a new J .D . ETC; /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
This picture is not from France but from a Japanese adds website. This AF 222 HST cost around 1100 000 JPY (1000000 = 8325 $) in Japan. So, Buck is right when he says these tractors are pricy ! What is interesting is to see that used tractors for the internal market in Japan are around 500 hours. If they have more hours they are most of time exported to the states or to Europe. When you know that the average life of such a tractor is around 9000 hours (maybe more for a Yanmar) you understand that 500 hours is nothing. So why do the Japanese sell abroad such good tractors ? Because they like what is new ! and because their government helps farmers to buy new tractors. Just a dream for us in Europe...
If the tractor (new )is $ 8,325.00 U.S. , that's not bad, as a new is that or more. It would be nice to see some of these newer models imported b -4 they are 20 + yrs old , but I guess there would be a parts issue with these newer tractors .
Sorry but I think I was not clear enough (my english is very bad). The price I have mentionned is for this used model not for a new one. I have check on the Yanmar Website for prices for new tractor but the AF 222 is no longer on sale (in Japan it is an "old model"). Please Ken, check the following link and you will have the prices for new AF100 series in Japan Yen. Remember that today 1 000 000 JPY = 8598 $. Prices for new Yanmar AF100 in Japan
The URL I have inserted here is supposed to be traduced in english by the Google translator but it appears in Japanese. Let's try one more time. (anyway the prices are in the second column). Prices for new AF100 tractor in Japan
I would like to know what the af120 on the bottom of the chart is ? H.P. ,etc ? If I'am correct that tractor would be about $17000.00 U.S. That price maybe with tiller etc, but my Jaapanese is about as good as my French . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
