Does any one know of one that is honest and reputable? The only one i can find near me on the web is rinehart tractor and supply, go to there website and look at the specs on the tractors. Would love to hear your opinions on it!

Well, will add my opinion. I have never knew yanmar made a 1991 ym model yanmar tractor Run away. If you know what's good for you. I see no safety features on his yanmars. Being a safety freek myself, I would look for a utda dealer

Take a look at the hp ratings also. I heard of a place up on the peek exit off of I-26 but havent been there yet.

Just seeing the year mod. was enough for me

ask gizmo . He's from sc and post here at times . He knows someone in sc that sells good used yanmars. I don't know if they have all the safety equip. but, you can add the stuff. ROPS, safety start switch, PTO shield, etc,. I think he said south land tractors in sc. 864-895-4220. I don't know anything about this dealer so, you need to talk with gizmo

kenmac is right. Pass on Rinehart and check out Southland. Several folks on the board have done business with them and all have had good experiences. Gizmo has bought several Yanmars there and swears by them.

I know you were looking for one in South Carolina, but Tennessee isn't all that far away.

After about a month of searching I purchased my Yanmar at Tullahoma Tractor here in Tennessee. Check out there web site. Tullahoma Tractor - Yanmar Tractors They have a huge selection of good tractors and equipment. They don't "recondition" [thank goodness] them but do a thorough inspection and service every one they sell. They also take the time to go over all of the features and show you how to properly use your tractor. ROPS are not standard on there tractors but they will install them for a good price.
