I bought my tractor from a small dealer just down the road about 10 years ago. The only warranty was, "If it breaks any time soon, we will fix it". I would never buy a used, big ticket item that I couldn't thoroughly inspect before purchase.

Actually norm this is where you took the thread and I had a great day thanks I tilled 2 gardens this weekend for $120.

It may be a 30 year old machine but the point was and still is it has only 95 hours since the engine was gone thru.

I had called Stuart about it and gave him the chance to make it right and he never called me back like he said he would out of sight out of mind comment I made and that's where a good dealer stands out from a mediocre dealer.

Imagine how good they would look right now if they had offered to help me get it running right again with parts etc that would have gone along ways to making them a GREAT dealer. my 2c

What you are missing and its only because of your ignorance of engine dynamics is no good engine builder would miss a head that is warped let alone put one back together with .007" warp especially a diesel they simply wont live long and then not even grind the valves and seats so my angst is over that fact and its justified.

Facts are facts. You were complaining, on open forum, that they would not fix your tractor, which was well over a year outside of warranty. That is indisputable.
