Yanmar Frame Paint

Any one have an exact or very close paint to match the original greenish frame paint? Someone posted Rustoleum Verde Green, but I checked 3 different Home Depot's and they don't carry it. Any suggestions?

If you have A Lowes store near you,they might be able to match it if you can take a paint chip with you.That's where the paint I used on my 1610 came from.Any good paint store could probably help you. Good Luck....

I went to my local Ace hardware store. They scanned it. They mixed it in an anti rust enamel. It covers well and matches very well. At less than $6 it is a bargain. The other option I tried was to have a local automotive store scan and mix it in a 3 part poly than matched exactly, BUT cost was $45 a quart.

Try the Rustoleum #7737 Spruce Green, it blends well and I can't tell the difference from the original color on the tractor. It will take awhile to dry though. It is a satin finish and I don't know if you could get a closer color match in a rattle can! I got mine at walmat and I believe that it is a normal stocked item at California walmarts.

For the Red if doing a complete repaint of the sheet metal, I used Krylon Banner Red and it looks real sharp. This paint drys really fast and smooths out real well which makes a rattle can job much easier.

Thanks for the info. I will pick up some Spruce Green. I was looking on CornerHardware.com and they carry over 200 kinds of rustoleum. General info: I noticed that they have a Rustoleum John Deere Green and John Deere Yellow. They claim that these are official factory paints.
