I’m looking to buy my first tractor! Does anyone have any experience with a 2017 Yanmar SA424? Only has 70 hours on it and comes with front loader and forks. Has quick attachment as well $18.5k… Is this a good deal?

The SA424 is the BEST in the entire SA series. If you got a deal on one, take it. It has the latest 3Txx80xx engine. My machine has the very 1st generation of that engine and its totally sound. The engines been used by John Deere for over 45 years as well. It's a solid and strong engine with a proven history.

Now I can rant and rave about the SA424 all day, but you being the buyer needs to see if it meets your needs totally. My only draw back with the SA Series is a needed handle to help assist you into the driving seat. That's it. Otherwise, you got a great machine for decades of fun.

The first thing to consider is what you want to DO with a tractor? From there you're better equipped to see if the Yanmar will fill the bill.
