Yanmar - JD 1050

Hello,
I'm new to this site and was very happy to find it. I have a John Deere 1050 that was made by Yanmar. 4WD, 33 HP,3cyl diesel. Does anyone know the comparable Yanmar model number. As far as tractors are concerned I don't think this is very old, I have a '48 Farmall that I can still buy parts for, but I guess JD does because on the few occassions that I needed parts they advised they were no longer available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the yanmar equivelent is the YM4300D. It is a grey market tractor so Yanmar doesn,t offer any direct support. Hoye tractor, Fredericks equip., and RF engines can supply almost any of the parts you would need.

There is an outfit called Wengers in Myerstown PA that dismantles tractors. They might have parts you need. If you get to Myerstown their place is well worth a visit. They have a nice web site too.

I see this is an old thread and that the OP hasnt been here since posting the question but just for conversation purposes I believe a 3810 is the closest match in most ways from my research anyway I could be wrong?

I own a YM3810D and the engine is basically the same in the JD 1050 (3T84T 3cyl turbo 3810 and 3T90T 3cyl turbo JD 1050) if nothing else, (3810 is a powershift, 1050 is gear drive) and they look almost identical also fwtw.
