Just got word from my neighbor who weathered rita that my house was damaged but my tractor is still there and in pretty good shape!
O yea I almost forgot I am from Sulphur, Louisiana.
I know how all you regulars love pics but right now I don't have any. I promise to get some when I get back but right now they aren't letting anyone in to the area.

Hope your damage is minimal. Rita lifted both seats on my tractors (Yanmars) parked outside. Blew phone and power lines down and lots of trees/branches everywhere.

I was very lucky...many of my neighbors were not.

Good luck.

Glad you made it thru OK. Rita spared us but Katrina did not. I am still cutting up trees and limbs from that beast. A tractor sure is a big help with the cleanup. Katrina ripped my tractor to shreds but, the tractor is fine.

Good luck!

I finally got some pics posted of some of the damage to my house and property. My tractor was parked in the shop and neither the shop or the tractor was damaged at all except for some paint that got windblasted off the wall of the shop.

I posted the pics in the the Picture forum under the title "some damage from Huricane Rita"
